  3. CCTV Video Viewer on Drawings

I want to be able to add and view CCTV video images along a line in a drawing or in a 3d environment. The video should be a pop up that can be expanded to half screen and full screen and should show an icon moving along the line to show its approximate position on the linear reference. A demo of wincan from the utilities team should be able to demonstrate this well

  4. File count in subfolders

When sharing a large amount of files (photos) sorted in folders it would be helpful to have a file count for each subfolder. There's a workaround at the moment, I can select all the files and look at the selected files button, but it takes time when there's a lot of files to scroll down and use the "load more" button.

  5. Open all files immediately - miss the intermediary step

If there are multiple options to open just open the first or default layer. The user can select a different layer or model when they are in the file.

  6. Measure tool not working

I am viewing a DWG file and tried to use the measure tool, however it appears to be putting a comment (without the comment dialog box opening) instead.

  7. Linear reference view

Let the user define a centreline on the map β€” a road, railway, drainage run, pipeline, river, tunnel, fenceline β€” and reference everything along it by distance from a start point (chainage, in metres or km+m), the way infrastructure surveyors and drainage engineers actually work. Vismo's customers in linear infrastructure don't think in lat/lng. A drainage engineer says "blockage at MH04+12.6"; a highways surveyor says "kerb defect at 02/450 on the southbound carriageway"; a rail engineer says "vegetation strike at 87m 24ch". Today the prototype puts every file at a point in WGS84 and forces these users to translate. The linear reference tool gives them a coordinate system that matches the asset they're surveying, and lets the rest of Vismo (annotations, measurements, files, video tracks) speak it. What the tool does. A user nominates a centreline by drawing a polyline on the 2D map, by importing one (GeoJSON LineString, KML, DWG polyline) or by snapping to an existing aligned drawing. They name it ("Drain Run A β€” MH04 β†’ MH09"), set the chainage origin (which end is 0+000), the units (m, ft, km+m, mi+ch) and an optional offset for the true start of the asset relative to the first vertex. The tool stores the centreline as a first-class object on the project, with its own visibility toggle in the rail's Files section under a new "Linear references" group. Once a centreline exists, four behaviours light up. Clicking anywhere on the map returns the chainage of the nearest point on the active centreline, plus the perpendicular offset. Dragging along the centreline shows a live readout in the viewport's status bar. Any annotation or measurement created while a centreline is active records its chainage as a property alongside lat/lng, so it can be searched, filtered and listed by chainage. Drone and CCTV video files whose track lies within a configurable buffer of the centreline (default 5 m) automatically present a chainage axis on the timeline scrubber (FR-003), so the user scrubs by 00+125 rather than by seconds. The tile and list viewport modes gain an optional "chainage" sort and a "from chainage / to chainage" filter when a centreline is selected. The right-dock preview panel shows the chainage of the previewed file as part of its metadata block.

  8. map pin improvement idea

when you have created a map pin - if it is a pdf for example it would be good if you selected the pin that it then showed a thumbnail of the pdf. then if you selected it again it opens a navigable preview of the file and then there wa a button to open it full pane or side pane so you can see it along side the map or have it focused - obviously at each of those phases you will want to step back.

  12. Live location of the survey drawing on a tablet/phone

Be able to walk the site with the drawing open in Vismo with live tracking. It would help clients understand the drawings and see features as they are next to them. Can help with buried assets or could help the site team checking their progress or identify missing features.

  13. The select folder/files button to be clearer.

The button to select folders and files is currently invisible and i have had a couple of clients request how do they select multiple files to download etc..

  14. Photo Viewing (Gallery)

Often folders are uploaded with multiple photos in. Currently we are unable to click a 'next' button to quickly change between photos, you have to go out of the preview page and into the next. It would be helpful to have a similar style to windows file explorer for viewing photos
